Lighthouse Funerals offers an alternative partner for funeral home acquisitions, built on a foundation of personal experience and a deep commitment to maintaining the integrity of family-run funeral businesses. As the CEO, Steven brings a unique perspective to the funeral services industry—shaped by his years of working alongside his family at Brian Wilton Funeral Home in Bournemouth. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the complexities and emotions involved in running a family business, as well as the profound impact of its eventual sale.
In 2011, Steven played an integral role in the sale of his family business to a corporate, an experience that provided invaluable insight into the challenges and emotional aspects of transitioning a family-owned business to a corporate entity. Through this journey, he came to realise how crucial it is for funeral directors to preserve their values, culture, and community relationships—even after a sale.
This understanding became the foundation of Lighthouse Funerals—a company dedicated to acquiring well-established, high-quality funeral businesses across the country. We are committed to offering a compassionate, flexible, and respectful acquisition process that honours the legacies of these businesses and supports their future success.
We have funeral homes across Dorset and Devon along with a manufacturing stonemasons and showroom.
